Privacy
Short version
This site does not run third-party analytics, does not set tracking cookies, and does not sell or share any data about visitors. The author is independent; there are no advertisers to satisfy.
What is collected automatically
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare's standard server logs are kept for security and abuse-prevention purposes — these logs include IP addresses, user agents, and timestamps. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to that layer.
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics product. It records anonymous, aggregate page views and referrer information so the author can see basic traffic patterns. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not track activity across sites. Cloudflare's Web Analytics privacy notes describe the data flow in detail.
Email subscription (when offered)
If the site adds email subscription in the future, addresses will be stored only for the purpose of sending essays. They will not be sold, shared, or used for advertising. Every email will include a one-click unsubscribe link. The chosen email service provider's privacy policy will be linked here.
RSS
RSS is fully anonymous. The server only logs that some IP fetched /feed.xml — same as any normal page request. RSS readers do not authenticate.
Your rights
If at any point email subscription is added and you'd like your address removed, or you'd like a copy of the data the site holds about you, contact [email protected] directly. The author handles this; there is no automated portal because there is very little data to handle.
Changes to this page
If the privacy practices of the site change, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the change. Significant changes will also be noted in the next published essay.
